The poster has been approved by Mr. Auld and we will begin advertising around campus as soon as possible.

Color Guard try-outs is a MANDATORY event for all returning students. It is on May 8 from 9am-12pm in the band room. Please where comfortable clothing.

The middle school recruiting trip and spring concert performers are: Zach Winegardner, Abbi Callahan, Landi Dejong and Michelle Stallings. Thanks for taking the time to learn these routines to promote guard!

The Incredibles uniform has been decided on and measurements will be taken at try-outs. Whether or not we get a new parade uniform has still not been decided on.

Summer Intensive program has been approved, and the schedule is being worked on now.

Landi Dejong and Michelle Stallings will be attending the CLA Conference about band leadership in May.

Congrats to Michelle Stallings for receiving the Russel and Sherry Parker Performing Arts Summer Studies Fund and a Music Booster Scholarship. With this money, she will be attending the University of Oregon Marching Band Camp for a week in July!

Rally Review and News

The rally went very well yesterday! Klara and I did a few routines to the songs played by the pep band during the entrance and exit of students. Everyone did a great job!

Practices for the middle school recruiting trip are as follows:

Wednesday, April 14 6:30am
Wednesday, April 21 6:30am
Friday, April 23 11:50 am
Wednesday, April 28 4:00pm

The recruiting trip will be on Friday, April 30 during lunch. You will recieve an excused tardy for 6th period, and a pass to leave early 5th.

Recruiting season is off to an awesome start!!!

~ Only 2 Students can do this event, one space has already been occupied and one is still left. It is determined on a first asked basis.

+ It is HIGHLY suggested that if you do the recruiting trip, you should also do the spring concert.
